Waldvogel Commercial Properties Brokers Lease for AppTech Solutions’ Expansion

Daugherty RoadWaldvogel Commercial Properties has brokered the lease of 3993 Daugherty Road in western Roanoke County to AppTech Solutions. The 27,000-square-foot building sits on five acres west of Salem. Michael Waldvogel, CCIM, SIOR, Krista Vannoy, CCIM, and Celie Holmes represented AppTech in the transaction.

AppTech Solutions is a manufacturer and engineering service provider of Structurally Reinforced Thermoplastic (SRTP)-based water and wastewater systems. Their innovations leverage the best available technologies and materials to offer new solutions to old challenges. The company is expanding while consolidating its two current Roanoke facilities into one building. The office currently is on Peters Creek Road, while the manufacturing operation is located on Melrose Avenue.

“We’re honored to have helped AppTech find a new facility from which they will grow and expand,” said Waldvogel. “It is gratifying to see manufacturing firms stay in the Roanoke Valley.”

Waldvogel Commercial Properties Brokers Sale of Medical Office Building

3rd Street ExteriorWaldvogel Commercial Properties has brokered the sale of an office building at 1215 Third Street, SW in Roanoke City. The 4,400-square-foot building was owned by Dorsey and Timmermann, LLC and was the home to Dermatology Associates of Roanoke. It was purchased by the Child Health Investment Partnership of Roanoke Valley (CHIP). Michael Waldvogel, CCIM, SIOR, Krista Vannoy, CCIM, and Celie Holmes represented the seller in the transaction.

Dermatology Associates will relocate early next year to accommodate an expansion of their practice. CHIP’s primary offices are located next door at 1201 3rd Street, SW, where they will remain. The organization will use approximately 2,200 square feet of the new building for its programs and intends to lease the remainder of the building.
